Shadow Lands - The Lion King |
] |
I want to get away. No, before you go thinking it, not from anything bad. Just from this city. Just from the monotomy.
Honestly. I know I'm going somewhere over April break (to Boston with my church, if you're wondering), but I need something now. Every so often I just get like this, y'know? Well, you don't know, but you know now. I listen to my sister talk about how she's going to the Franz Ferdinand and Death Cab concert in Ithaca, and I think, "Why can't I ever go to things like that?"
I want to go down to New York City with a bunch of people I just met and stay out all night so I don't have to rent a hotel room. I want sustain myself off of caffine pills the entire trip. I want to waste all the money I'd spend on a place to sleep on Broadway tickets and a first class plane trip there and back.
I want to go to Europe, to Scotland during the Edinburgh festival. I want to go with friends, so that we can go see the shows that will probably never play anywhere else, ever again. I want to have a once in a lifetime experiance that I'll remember for the rest of my life.
I want to meet a friend on the internet and be touring a city, and have it turn out they live there. I want to run into them on the street, and recognise them from pictures. I want to have them show me their town, have them tell me about how it's so boring and they want to leave. I want to tell them, "Why don't you come stay with me sometime? We'd love to have you!"
I just really, really want to leave.

House Theme (It's on tonight! Hells yes!) |
] |
Jessica, Richard and I just followed Irene around the house, all the lights off, the only source of light the candles we were holding. Irene held a stick on incense, and waved it over the various pieces of techonology we were praying wouldn't fuck up on us.
I adore my family.
We are so fucked up... but in a good way.

"Are you in, or are you out?" (Yep, just that phrase.) |
] |
Well, I think my mom and I take the cake in the Not Getting Sidetracked competition.
We went out to Eastview to pick up out diningroom chairs from the furniture store, and stopped into the mall to get me some boots and socks. Heres the list of what we came out with -
- 1 pair black converse - 15 pairs of socks - 1 skirt - 1 pair of pants - 4 shirts - 2 suits and - 1 fancy shirt
Yes, we pretty much rock.
And speaking of clothing... WHAT THE FUCK. NO, SEIROUSLY. WHAT. THE. FUCK. WHAT THE BLOODY FUCKING HELL. Santino made a JUMPSUIT, and it had HOLES in it! It was unfinished! Nick's was ambitious, yes, but so what! Everyone makes mistakes! And Santino's been a bastard lately, anyway! FUCK YOU, PRODUCERS. I AGREE WITH DANIEL. NICK SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN OUT.
Damn you, Santino. Yes, you're a good designer... but honestly, I like Nick's stuff better.

You Okay Honey? - RENT bootleg |

Ode to Mr. Berger Oh, Mr. Berger, You chours teacher, you. Did you know that showing us Defying Gravity on Google Video would lead to something so wonderful? Of course you didn't, but I care not. For under your instruction, I looked around Google Video for other Broadway bootlegs, and what did I find?
THE ENTIRE ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST VIDEO OF RENT. ON STAGE. WITH ANTHONY RAPP. AND EVERYONE ELSE. IT'S WONDERFUL
*clears throat*
Mark: I'll check up on you later. (pleadingly) Change your mind? You have to get out of the house! Arianna: OMGSQUEE!

I just finished watching The Boondock Saints.
Holy shit.
That movie fucking rocked!
Half naked twins, religion, mafia, murder, swearing times ten, and a gay detective.
What more could you want?

Auditions - Bare: A Pop Opera |
] |
I agree with Kim on the fact that if you people did this for me, it would make my life complete.
This has been stolen from gryffindorgirl7 !
Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues! multiple letters for multiple characters is allowed.
- Draco from Harry Potter
- A wedding invitation from Remus and Sirius (Yes, I'm pathetic. Just write it.)
- Mark Cohen from RENT
- Peter from Bare
- Ed from Fullmetal Alchemist
- Racetrack from Newsies
- Batman from Batman
- Xander from Buffy
- Wesley from Angel
- Mercutio from Romeo and Juliet

I'm way more happy about this than I should be.

Swingin' With the Saints - Who the hell knows? Chorus song. |
] |
Today was lovely. That's really the only word to describe it. The weather was so beautiful!
Actually, I kind of find it disturbing. Oh well. I can relish while it's there, can't I?
Anyways, after school I had my voice lesson. After that, my I picked up Bella my mom dropped us off at my dad's. Bella borrowed my Smallville DVD's, and we walked down to Starbucks and got coffee. Then Bella was like, "Hey! Let's walk to Mary's!" So we walked to Mary's. Ha. Then Mary's dad drove us home. Whoot.
When I got home I went straight to NARNIA! Kim, you were right. That movie is AWESOME. The animation was so GOOD. SOOOO GOOOOOD. And Peter is adorable, really. As is Edmund (in a "Aww!" way, not a, "Oooh! He's schmexy!" way), when he's not making me want to punch him. ...I want to pet Jesus.
Then I finished Magic's Pawn. Ah, badly written gay fantasy. What could be better than that? Oh, yeah, I know. My LITTLE BROTHER reading my other gay fantasy book. I giggle at this. Madly. I don't think he knew what it was when he picked it up, and I don't know if he quite knows who the main character ends up with yet. Well, he'll find out soon enough. Ha.
Dad: Arianna, if you don't come home soon we're going to leave for the movie without you. Me: Fine, Dad. Just be warned, if you do, I'll be having a giant racous party full of sex, drugs, and alcohol. Expect the house to be trashed when you return home. Bella: Oooh! Crazy parties with alcohol! I can bring the vodka! Mary: And I can bring the scotch! Dad: Well, just be sure to leave some left for me.

I just watched Sky High with Richard, Irene, and my dad. Oh man, I love those guys! 'Specially my dad, what with his, "I'm Unicorn Man! Fear my one hair that grows out of the middle of my forehead! *jumps around the kitchen like a madman*" Ah, family time.
So infinitely better than family vacations.

Instant Pleasure - Rufus Wainwright |
] |
Last night I went to Zora's house for dinner and QAF watching. I've missed doing things like that! We ended up staying awake 'till 6AM, and watching 7 episodes of QAF. I <3<3<3<3<3 my Queer as Folk DVDs! It was like a giant slumber party, with only two people. If that makes sense. XD Anyway, it was really fun.
And I really don't want to go back to school tomorrow.
